Volunteer Program

Homeless, Do We Care?
Date : 20/11/2014 until 22/11/2014
Venue : Kuala Lumpur Area
A program organized by PERMAS UUM collaboration with The Nasi Lemak Project, managed by UIA students.
The activities from this event contains of two part, day and night. On day, we will go to the suburb area to meet with the village people. Usually, they will teach and guide the urban poor kids to do their home works. On night, we will going to provide foods for the homeless in the city
The objectives of this program are to care about homeless people and to help the urban poor child in their studies.

My first experience busking at the Convo Fest eventhough my voice are not tunable. Haha.

We were doing some activities with the kids. Since it was their school holiday, so we weren't teaching them.

In conclusion, by joining this programme I learn to appreciate more about what I am having right. It's so sad to see there were a family living under the bridge. Their kids supposed to go to school, but unfortunately there don't have enough money to pay for school not even for their foods. I am so grateful to be who am I now. I hope to join a lots of activities like this. Good job PERMAS!
